Hendrie's Soccer Academy's mission is to provide a safe and positive opportunity for our youth to enjoy and become enthusiastic about the game of soccer, thereby fostering their social, emotional and athletic development.​

• To provide a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere where children are treated with dignity and feel that they belong.

• To expose players to developmentally appropriate levels of competition.

• To focus on long-term player development with a lesser emphasis on winning games.

• To help players reach their fullest potential through training sessions that are organized, fun, exciting, progressive and up-to-date, and which utilize game applications that encourage players to make decisions, rather than lines, laps, lectures and cones.

• To develop players who possess sound technical skills, a solid (age appropriate) tactical understanding of the game of soccer, and a readiness for entry into higher levels of the game.

• To promote good sportsmanship among players, coaches, parents and spectators.

• To provide an experience which will enhance and develop positive self-esteem and the feeling of being a contributing member of a team.

• To assist players in developing the virtues of honesty, commitment, dedication, perseverance, self-control, hard work and respect for: self, teammates, officials, opponents, fans and property.

• To create an atmosphere of working together and bonding as teammates to achieve a common goal and positive team spirit.

• To promote the ongoing development of players, coaches and parents to enhance the overall soccer experience.
